New hairdo!

The first time that I have my hair rebonded was last year on Index Salon at Guada Branch.  Its just an experiment because I don't know if my hair will get burned hehehe.. But it turned out ok so I went again to have again rebonded on the same salon and I ask that Allan (he was the one who do my hair last year) to rebond my hair.  At first, I got bored because there are many people who like me is having their hair rebonded maybe because they have a rainy season discount on rebond.  There are many kinds of rebond, with color polish, with hair repair, with cellophane etc.  I choose rebond with cellophane although this is the most expensive (starts at P1,299). I finished at 11:00 pm which took a long time but its ok because I am satisfied with the result.

Friday night at Bos with friends

Yup. I spent Friday night with my friends at Bo's Coffee at Glorietta 5. I miss those times that we always spent all time after working in the office.  Submit all reports, meet with clients, and presenting reports to bosses. We are too busy that we forgot to have these moments.  Hope our friendship grows even we're apart. . 

new kikays for me!

This morning I was out of foundation so I said to myself that I would buy myself a new foundation.  I went to faceshop since thats where I bought my foundation before.  I found out what I have been using is already face out so I bought a new one.  They said that its new so I said, ok I'll try it.  I am using liquid foundation because its for me its easy to use compared to others.  I am not comfortable to use powder foundation because its messy.  When you use it some of it fall down on your shirt or blouse and I don't like it.  When I am using liquid foundation, its easy to use and easy to spread across my face.  I am using Faceshop's Premier Essence in Foundation NB23.  Its good because it has SPF15.  Though I do not know if it will work with me with my work and all.

I also bought Pure Water Facial Mist. It has sweet scent and has no strong smell.  I am particular with what I spray in my face so I do not want to spray anything in my face which has a strong smell.  I also bought Herb Clear Lip & Eye Make-up Remover.  I want to try this because whenever I take off make-up I have to rub my face really well just to satisfy myself that it was clean off my make-up.

I also bought Premier Essence Two Way Cake SPF20.  I just bought this because if I buy this I will get a free  Lip and Cheek Tint. Ha! Ha!

first sha meeting reunion!

The first meeting for our batch reunion meeting held this afternoon at 3:00 PM.  I came late because of the traffic and MRT is not working because of brownout.  I even planned to wear my shoes so that I would look thinner but I even have no time to go home first to leave my bigger bag. It was held in one of the restaurant in Bagbaguin.  I remember that restaurant because my cousin held her daughter's christening party there. I remember that their chopsuey is so good but we did not order that much to my own disappointed.  We attended the meeting with 11 of us in total which is half of the total persons who confirmed their presence.  They better have a good reason!  At first, we voted that we moved the reunion from 2011 to 2010.  Thats very nice since most of our batchmates were very anxious to start our reunion.  So the reunion was set to December 30, 2010 and the venue are not yet sure.  We are thinking maybe SHA, Polaris or Angels for the venue.  I really don't know since I am not familiar the last two so I didn't made any comments or suggestions.  But I think maybe I can research on both places on what we think is much more cheaper and can accommodate all of us.  Karyn thinks that total number of attendees will be 300 persons although we have about 600 graduates since they might not all attend right?  Since I am the only representative of section B, I will be the section head but Riza will help me.  Maybe I have to ask Karyn her number to help me with the completing the details of our classmates.  I am one of the committee head with Karyn on the Purchasing, we will handle the invitations, souvenirs and T-Shirts.  Souvenirs of course, will depend upon the theme right? Total estimated budget will be P200K or P700 per head.  We think that we can accomplished that thru raising funds.  We can raise funds thru Bingo Bonanza, souveneirs/invitations and one I forget (sorry..).  We agreed to have a Bingo Bonanza on Jan. 15 but we need to sell 100 tickets per section for P200 each tickets. Argh! It seems very fast,huh! I have to sell P20,000 worth of tickets for 2 months period or less...  That we will see..

Pinoy Big Brother - double up!

ABS-CBN is again showing the hit Pinoy Big Brother. The new PBB is entitled Pinoy Big Brother Double up!  The 5 newcomers, Rob, Rica, Jimson, Kathleen and Patrick already enter the house but with a new task.  Rica and Rob will be sweethearts and Patrick and Kathleen will be husband and wife.  Now thats a big task especially between the true husband and wife Jimson and Kathleen and also with Rob posing as boyfriend of Rica.  But it seems that Rica and Rob are doing fine with their act and other housemates did not notice that its not true while at the other house Patrick and Kathleen is just the opposite because their housemates are noticing that they are just acting as husband and wife.  Jimson is not helping either it seems that he is asking questions that might jeopardize their task like asking if Patrick knows a few Spanish words and stating that he (Jimson) knows a few Spanish words.  Now thats a big problem! And speaking of Rob, he's so cute! Hehehe I have a new crush!  There would be a reason for me to watch PBB again!

roasted pork stew - paksiw na lechon!

This is my first time to cook paksiw na lechon or roasted pork stew.  Though it does not look that good but its a big thing for me since it taste ok hehehe. I just mixed 1 day old lechon, vinegar, mang tomas, garlic, pepper and a little sugar.  I let it boil for 30 minutes and voila!  This is the result.  Actually for your information, this lechon came from Cebu so it should taste good right?

Mortal Instruments

I recently read the Mortal Instrument Trilogy which titled as City of Bones, City of Ashes and City of Glass and it was really really good. Its very entertaining, romantic and full of action. Though its like the story of Harry Potter and Twilight, it has its unique story line and the most important thing, its not boring. It is written by Cassandra Claire. The first book is City of Bones which was published on March 2007, the second book is City of Ashes which was published on March 2008 and the third book is City of Glass which was published on March 2009.

It is a Trilogy but unlike the Harry Potter that has plot and story line on each book. It is like one book divided into 3 books.

Gist/Summary

The story is around Shadowhunter, a half human-half angel, swore to protect all humankind. One Shadowhunter, Valentine, would like to cleanse their clan so he have wanted to gain the Immortal Cup, Immortal Sword and Immortal Mirror, which were given by the Angel, Raziel to the first Nephilim, Jonathan Shadowhunter. They say that when you summoned Raziel, you can get one wish to become true. Together with the Downworlders and all the Shadowhunters, Jace and Clary fought Valentine to prevent his goal. In the end, they both found out that they are special enough to win against Valentine.

This one of the movie that I never get tired to watch over and over again. Funny, romantic and can touch your heart. I get to cry every time I watched the part that Jenna told her bestfriend that she loves him...
